Strengths & Weaknesses

This week I found and treasured this Quote … "The greatest progress in life is when you know your limitations, and then you have the courage to drop them" Yogi Bhajan

I have been working with an amazing coach, Cari Cole.
One of the things she talks about is knowing your strengths and knowing your weaknesses. Why bother? Acknowledging our strengths gives us the power to emphasize the things we do best which enables us to share those gifts more openly with others. Also, encouraging our attributes is a sure-fire way to silence that inner-critic guy who likes to tell us where we fall short (note he is not someone worth listening to and often he is incorrect!) We empower ourselves to keep learning and striving when we remember that we are already perfect with unique talents!! The question is....
Are you focusing on your limitations or your gifts? Our strength becomes magnified when we can drop those self-limiting thought patterns and stop judging ourselves based on what we perceive as limitations. Embracing our strengths gives us the courage to excel! And when we do that, often we find that those so called ‘weaknesses,’ seem to dissipate….
What are your strengths? Where do you shine? How can you share that gift with others?
