RUMInating on the Heart…..

A big part of that class was bringing awareness to the whole idea of Connecting with a deeper love for Oneself.  We say in Yoga, that the Heart Center is where the Me becomes We –  And it begins with Loving the Me First.  You know what they say when you’re on a plane -  Set up your Oxygen Before Helping the person next to you.  ;)

“This being human is a guest house. Every morning is a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor...Welcome and entertain them all. Treat each guest honorably. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.”
― Rumi

Have you ever met That Person who constantly criticizes everyone else?  Surprisingly the same banter is usually going on their head towards themselves.  What we feel inside mirrors what we reflect out.

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
― Rumi

Sometimes, the walls we come up against in Love & Heart Opening are actually mirrors that reflect our relationship with Self-Love or lack of Self-Acceptance.

Too often, we forget that who we are in this moment is enough, and we have more potential than we realize……

“Do you know what you are?
You are a manuscript oƒ a divine letter.
You are a mirror reflecting a noble face.
This universe is not outside of you.
Look inside yourself;
everything that you want,
you are already that.”  ― Rumi

Sometimes, the most Important thing is to hear to what’s in our hearts – even if it feels scary or confusing.  There is a very wise, quiet, compassionate voice inside of us.  If we take a moment and……. Listen……

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.”
― Rumi

“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”
― Rumi

“Only from the heart can you touch the sky.”
― Rumi

May you RUMInate with Joy and Inspire
Love and Light
