The Relevance of Elephants

I wanted to share my favorite quote of the week because it made me laugh, a lot!
“Anything that is unrelated to elephants is irrelephant.”  ha! ha!
More importantly? What has possessed me to discuss this kind of nonsense? Well, it made me think of the word of relevance.  When we begin to understand
the Relephant or Irrelephant parts of our lives, then we can allow this knowledge to enrich us and to empower our success!!
Well, that’s the focus of todays article - Remembering What is Relephant to YOU?

Some Relephant Reminders for daily living
In the midst of a very busy summer, I must say sometimes my head spins! Then, the busier I get, the less time I have to allot for my daily meditation practice which thereby results in further swirling… You get the point.

Relephant Reminder #1
When Life starts to move too fast, often we lose sight of the most important things that keep us sane! However, when life gets hectic, it becomes Extra Important to take the time to take care of You! Sleeping, eating well, getting exercise, hydrating, etc.  These things are Very Relephant to our over well-BE-ing. We function best when we are at our best!!! Often, the best trick to keeping up is to slow down.
(see in this picture the elephant is a great example, he's hydrating & having fun!!)

Do you remember when a blackberry was a fruit and apples hung on trees?
Seems that everyday there is some New form of technology vying for our attention. Spotify, SoundClouds, Google plus, Ieverything, Facebook upgrades…. etc (and don’t forget your text messages and e-mails!)

Relephant Reminder #2
It is SO easy to get overwhelmed with the constant pressure of Now, Now, Now. After all, no one wants to fall behind the curve of communication. But the trend in society is that we must do and have Everything!
So I would like to share a simple question that might help with perspective.
Will this gadget, gizmo or communication enrich my existence and benefit my aspirations?
If the answer is No? Then it is Irrelephant! Give yourself permission to delete and don’t look back. If the answer is Yes? Halleluja -phant! Thank the universe & bring it on!

I found this fascinating. The spiritual significance of the Elephant in Hinduism is to remove obstacles and to create prosperity. Furthermore, the elephant symbolizes
Almightiness; It stands for royalty, power, invincibility, infinity, knowledge and victory.  He breaks that which is undivine, unhappy, or whatever causes failure. As well as the limitations to our peace, happiness, illumination, and wisdom.

Wow! He’s pretty cool, huh?
Relephant Reminder #3
What does the magical elephant teach us about relevance?
You can embrace your power and release your limitations by concentrating your energy on what is most relevant to you.
So, this leads us to The most important question…. What are your highest Goals ?
What is most important to you? Take a moment and think on it.
When we focus on taking care of ourselves and eliminating what is unimportant, this helps to remove our barriers towards success.
Stated another way, when we focus only on that which is Relevant to our desires this calms our mind and helps us to live in our truest joy!
If it’s Relephant Bring It On and If it’s Irrelephant? Please be gone!
And actually? I know, this entire Ezine is mostly unrelated to Elephants!!!
But, I sincerely hope it does bring a perspective of Relevance to you, your goals and your day!
