Rock Star Tip of the Week: THE CHARLIE BROWN EFFECT

Remember how Charlie's teacher used to say "Wah, Wah, Wah ?"
What happened? He TUNED HER OUT. Unfortunately, that's what audiences do when they can't understand your lyrics You've spent so much time pouring your heart on the page - creating clear images & sharing your message through your songs.
Guess what? Your audience wants to hear them!!! So, simply stated... Make sure that your pronunciation is clear. Some Quick Fixes.
Be Aware of your mic placement.
When you get too close to the mic or aren't singing directly into the center of the mic words can get fuzzy.
Practice your words
Read your words aloud (without singing them)
Make sure that you can clearly state each word
Be aware of the places where are taking breaths

And Rock On with your Music. I look forward to seeing you in the spotlight!!
